After oscillating between the first and second place over the past four years, the KWPN stallion Johnson (Jazz x Flemmingh) has retained his leading position of 2022 on the 2023 WBFSH Dressage Sire ranking.

The offspring by Johnson (by Jazz x Flemmingh) gathered an impressive total of 31,541 points in the 2023 CDI show year.

The biggest contributor to Johnson's top ranking is Dinja van Liere's Hartsuijker (by Johnson x Scandic) with 2189 points. Further top grand Prix horses who helped Johnson in the number one spot are Bolero (Morgan Barbancon), Great Escape Camelot (Raphael Netz), James Bond (Franz Trischberger), Jolene (Alexandre Ayache), and Windermere J'obei (Melissa Galloway)

The KWPN bred Zack (by Rousseau x Jazz) pursued his ascent among the world’s best sires and who traded his 6th place from 2022 for the second place of the 2023 Dressage Sire Ranking with 23,001 points.

His top offspring are Blue Hors Zepter (Nanna Merrald), Zippo M.i. (Daniel Bachman Andersen), Bergsjoholms Valbonne (Malin Nilsson), and Zigzag (Gilles Ngovan).

Jazz (by Cocktail x Ulster) completed the trifecta for the KWPN society with three Dutch warmblood stallions leading the Dressage Sire ranking. The late stallion still has his influence on the dressage world and picked up 21,929 ranking points.

His best performing Grand Prix offspring at the moment are Blue Hors Don Olymbrio (Nanna Merrald), Electra (Lynne Maas), Elysias (Karen Nijvelt), and Gerion (Emma Jonsson).
