The Hanoverian stallion De Niro (by Donnerhall x Akzent II) has maintained its number one position on the WBFSH Dressage Sire Ranking, leading the 2013 ranking with a massive amount of points and distancing himself even further from his competition.

De Niro has taken this top spot thanks to his offspring successfully competing at major international events, including the 2013 European Dressage Championships, this year. Major contributor to De Niro's high score is Kristina Sprehe's team gold medal winning Desperados, as well as Anabel Balkenhol's Dablino and Fabienne Lutkemeier's D'Agostino.

The Trakehner stallion Gribaldi has overtaken Dutch warmblood legend Jazz on the ranking with a solid amount of points and is now the runner-up.  Gribaldi is represented by Schianto, Siro, Girasol, and Unee.

For the first time the Dutch bred Negro (by Ferro) has made his entry into the top 10 after ranking only 21st in 2012. He thanks this top placing to Valegro.
