German Grand Prix team rider and Olympian Dorothee Schneider has received the ride on the 10-year old Hanoverian licensed stallion Danciano de Malleret.

Danciano is by Dancier out of Rodney's Girl (by Rotspon x Wolkenstein II).. He is bred by Jan-Niclaas von Holten in Germany.

At the 2012 Hanoverian Stallion Licensing, the black was named premium stallion and owner Detlef Ruddat sold the horse at auction for 320,000 euro to Paul Schockemöhle and Andreas Helgstrand.

In 2013 Danciano won the 30-Day Stallion Performance Test in Schlieckau with a total of 8.48, receiving 8.91 for dressage and 7.7 for show jumping.

In October 2014 Danciano sold to Haras de Malleret in France but initially stayed at Schockemohle's in Germany. Under Anja Engelbart, Danciano qualified for the 2014 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf but did not compete there. A year later he finished 13th in the Bundeschampionate finals for 5-year olds. Engelbart and Danciano competed through 2016 after which Danciano moved to France. The horse  disappeared from the public eye.

Owner Gerald Martinez trained the stallion to Prix St. Georges level at home, while he became the flagship sire at the French dressage stud farm and brood yard. He has sired six licensed sons in Germany so far. Ten of his daughters are named state premium mare.

In 2019 Martinez changed business strategy and decided to no longer focus on having a home trainer develop his best horses. Instead Martinez began distributing the horses to Grand Prix level trainers in France, Switzerland and Germany.

In January 2020 German Olympian Dorothee Schneider already received Filarmonie de Malleret (by Furstenball) end Dancielle de Malleret (by Danciano) in training. On Friday 19 June she added sire Danciano to her barn, alongside his daughter Doxandra (by Danciano) who was previously ridden by Jessica Michel-Botton. Schneider now has four Malleret owned horses in training.

The goal for Danciano de Malleret is to be produced to Grand Prix level and hopefully compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
