In the history of the Oldenburg elite mare show, seventeen well-known Oldenburg breeders have managed to breed three or more mares that have competed in Rastede‘s Brilliantring.

The "Brilliant ring" is the champion's ring in which a small group of mares vies for the title of champion.

The placing in the ring is done alphabetically with 1A being the winner, 1B the second placed horse, 1C the third placed mare, etc. Only a top group of mares ends up being placed.
