Angela Krooswijk's very experienced young riders' schoolmaster Roman Nature has been sold to German pony rider Sophie Kampmann as future junior riders' horse.
The soon to be 18-year old Rhinelander licensed stallion (by Rohdiamant x Ehrentusch) was initially owned by Coby van Baalen and Johann Hinnemann. Marlies van Baalen trained the young stallion and competed him a few times in the young horse classes. As a 6-year old the stallion won silver at the 2000 World Young Horse Championships in Arnheim, The Netherlands.
The stallion then disappeared from the show scene for 4 years to make his return under Marlies at Prix St Georges level in 2004. Between 2004 and 2006 van Baalen actively competed the stallion at international small tour.
In the winter of 2008 Dutch former pony rider Angela Krooswijk took over the ride as well as the ownership of Roman Nature and the pair became one of the strongest youth riders' combinations in the country. They won four Dutch Championship titles (ZZ-licht level, juniors and young riders). At the 2011 European Young Riders Championships in Broholm, Denmark, they finished fifth individually and won team bronze.
Sophie Kampmann has been competing ponies Voyager and Den Ostriks Dailan. She also took the ride on former German EC team pony Cinderella but the pair never made it to the CDI show ring. Kampmann is trained by Janina Siemers.
