Nine colts in total were approved for breeding at the 2012 Swiss Warmblood Stallion Licensing which took place in Avenches, Switzerland on 15 - 17 November 2012. Only two of them are sired by a dressage stallion.
The licensed dressage colts are Hans Kuhn's Aquilo (by Aquilino x Ulysse de Thurin x Monte Carlo) and Hans Grunder's GB Londero von Worrenberg (by Londontime x Calypso II x Akzent II).
The other colts approved are (Casper N (by Contendro I x Leandro), Aarhof's Caliano (by Catoki x Cheenook), Heartbeat E.S (by Heartbreaker x Dubeaux Deloupe), Limboy von Worrenberg (by Limbus x Capitol I), Hunters Scendro (by Hunter's Scendix x Contendro I), Nektos (by Nekton x Liatos) and N'Oubliez Jamais (by Nintender x Calido).
At the annual Stallion Licensing, the Swiss Warmblood Society hosts the "Swiss Breed Classic" for young sport horses. Samuel Schmied's mare Show Girl (by Show Star x Davignon x Rubinstein I) became the winner of the dressage suitability class, scoring 7.16 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 9 for rideability and 8.5 for dressage potential. The runner up was Peter Schenk's mare Red Lady SPM (by Aquilino x Royaldik x Donnerhall) which scored 8.66 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8.16 for canter, 8.25 for rideability and 8.5 for dressage potential.
