Delioh von Buchmatt and SM Conalta were the winners of the performance classes held during the 2011 Swiss Warmblood Stallion Licensing in Avenches, Switzerland, on 24 - 26 October 2011. Eight show jumping stallions were approved, but no dressage stallions were presented.
The owner and rider of the only potentially licensed dressage stallion, Delioh von Buchmatt, decided not to participate in the licensing process, which underwent some changes this year like many German studbooks, chosing the allow the stallion to move in freedom in the figure eight according to the Dutch system.
Instead the 3-year old dark bay Delioh von Buchmatt (by Danone x Wolkentstein II x Matcho AA) was entered in the gaits performance class and won it. The class featured Hendrik Lochthowe and Isabel Justrich as guest judge riders.
Bred by Thomas Lustenburger and owned by Jörg and Manuela Aeberhard, Delioh scored 8 for walk and 9.5 for trot, canter, rideability and dressage potential. Delioh's total of 46 points put him well ahead of the runner-up, Christina Ernst's Shine SPM (by Hotline x Stedinger x Donatelli). He scored 7 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 9 for potential and 8.5 for rideability. He totalled 41.5 points.
Belinda Sangiorgio's mare Dark Lady KWG (by San Amour x Dressage Royal x Davignon) was third with 39.5 points total. She received 7.5 for walk and 8s for trot, canter, rideability and potential.
Eliano Meroni's jumper S.M. Conalta (by Con Air x Darco x Avontuur) won the free jumping class with 50.67 points in total and beat Heinrich Honegger's Ophelia (by Ogano Sitte x Bernstein x Bredero) won 50 points.
