Rigmor Kristensen Receives 2021 Lis Hartel Memorial Trophy

Former Danish pony team captain Rigmor Kristensen became the recipient of the 2021 Lis Hartel Memorial Trophy.

She received the recognition at the 2021 CDI-W Herning on Saturday evening 23 October 2021.

HRH Princess Benedict, chair of the Friends of Dressage, could not make to the event as was replaced by the vice-president of the association, Hanni Toodbuy Kasprzak, who presented the award to Kristensen.

For many years Rigmor been part of Danish dressage's talent development programs. Since 2001 Rigmor worked first on the Danish Equestrian Federation's pony committee as dressage manager and later as a member of DRF's dressage committee. Rigmor acted as team captain for the pony riders at all championships and celebrated many triumphs, especially in the years when she collaborated with former pony dressage national trainer Vibeke Degn Andersen."

“Your always friendly and welcoming nature and fantastic ability to commit to all situations, made the team effort perfect," said Kasprzak. "You have always been focused on developing talent and creating a stable structure behind the success. You have been aware of everything, from family relationships, ponies and to age-related training and development, which has been an important basis for Danish dressage and its results. You have been part of the long-standing stable background behind dressage in Denmark, which is an absolutely essential cornerstone behind the success."
