US Equestrian has announced updates to the Para Dressage Pathway and Programs Athlete List, effective May 20, 2026. The updated list recognizes thirteen athletes across four tiers: Elite, Pre-Elite, Development, and Emerging, reflecting the depth and continued growth of para dressage in the United States.
The Para Dressage Pathway and Programs list is a key component of US Equestrian's para dressage athlete development structure, providing a framework to identify, support, and advance athletes toward national and international competition.
Elite
The following combinations have been named to the Elite List:
- Rebecca Hart (Wellington, Fla.) and El Corona Texel, a 2009 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Wynton x Urieta Texel), owned by Rowan O’Riley, as well as Floratina, a 2008 Hanoverian mare (Fidertanz x Rubina), owned by Rowan O’Riley
- Fiona Howard (Wellington, Fla.) and Diamond Dunes, a 2013 Hanoverian gelding (De L’Or x Wibella), owned by Hof Kasselmann GMBH & Co.KG, as well as Jagger, her own 2012 Westphalian gelding (Johnson x Sigur Ros)
- Kate Shoemaker (Wellington, Fla.) and Vianne, her own 2016 Hanoverian mare (Vitalis x Ramiro’s Bube)
Pre-Elite
The following combinations have been named to the Pre-Elite List:
- Cynthia Screnci (Wellington, Fla.) and For Memory 4, her own 2017 Hanoverian gelding (For Dance x Despania)
- Marie Vonderheyden (Wellington, Fla.) and Fan Tastico H, a 2017 Oldenburg gelding (Furstanball x Wehmut), owned by Karin Flint
Development
The following combinations have been named to the Development List:
- Eleanor Brimmer (Wellington, Fla.) and My Moment, her own 2010 Hanoverian mare (Furst Romancier x High Sun), as well as Langagers Krack I Love It, her own 2011 Danish Warmblood mare (Krack C x Langagers Laudana)
- Sydney Collier (Ann Arbor, Mich.) and Bell Bottoms, a 2014 Oldenburg mare (Benetton Dream x Issandra), owned by Going for Gold, LLC
- Hannah Kingsley (Fort White, Fla.) and Eragon VF, her own 2009 KWPN gelding (Don Romantic x Ujinja)
- Laurietta Oakleaf (Jupiter, Fla.) and Nicodemus OSF, her own 2018 Dutch Warmblood gelding (Etoine x Coco Utopia)
Emerging
The following athletes have been named to the Emerging List:
- Elizabeth Welch (Summerville, S.C.)
- Shelley White (Brewerton, N.Y.)
- Victoria Yu (Coatesville, Pa.)
WEG Observation Events
U.S Equestrian also added that the official observation events for team selection for the 2026 World Para Dressage Championships will be Tryon and Hagen.
