Bundeschampionate Finalist Doc-Holliday Moves to German Junior Rider

Marie-Christin Kogel's Bundeschampionate finalist Doc-Holliday has found a new rider in German junior rider Elena Schreyeck.

Doc-Holliday is a 12-year old Hanoverian gelding by Dancier out of Lacrotina (by Landclassic x x Visa Rebel Z). He is bred by Hans-Georg Lühring.

The chestnut made his competition debut in July 2019 under Delia Didra at a local show in Schwenningen.

Listed as owned by Peter Wetzel, Doc-Holliday found a new rider in 2020 and was first shown by Marie-Christin Kogel in July of that year at the show in Villingen. Kogel qualified Doc-Holliday for the 2020 Bundeschampionate and finished 8th in the 6-year old finals after placing second in the consolation finals. 

In 2021 Kogel took him to developing Prix St Georges level and showed the Burgpokal qualifier in Ludwigsburg amongst other shows including the German WCYH team selection trial.  In 2022 the focused more on the Burgpokal classes with starts in Mannheim and Ludwigsburg and placed second at the Regional Championships in Baden Wurrttemberg.

Doc-Holliday switched into Kogel's ownership and they had  a very busy 2023 at national small tour level with no less than 29 starts. Kogel campaigned Doc-Holliday extensively at small tour level through 2025 with 19 starts in 2024 and 22 in 2025.  Kogel gained her Golden Rider Badge on him.

Doc-Holliday was sent to Lena Hassmann, who debuted hum in February 2026 in Rhede at S-level.

She took him to a national show in Krakow, Poland, where she won both the Inter I and Inter Kur., and from there headed to Vechta for another win. Doc-Holliday made his international show debut in the small tour at the CDI Hagen "Horses & Dreams" competition and won the Prix St Georges with 71.823% and the Inter I with 71.088%.

Right after the CDI Hagen Doc-Holliday started the next chapter with German junior rider Elena Schreyeck.

Elena has been competing in Germany since 2023, first aboard Felizia S (by Floratio x Brentano II). At the start of 2025 Elena's mom Anke Tessner-Schreyeck purchased Dutch junior team horse Kiki G whom Elena debuted in March 2025. Also Nicole Klatt-Cissee's Hanoverian mare D'Esperanza (by Desperados x De Kooning) joined the fold. In 2026 Elena has so far focused on Kiki G.
