Jeroen Devroe's internationally competed Grand Prix ride Fiderprincess has shifted down a gear from high performance sport and is currently giving more experience to a national level Belgian rider.
Fiderprincess is an 18-year old Hanoverian mare by Fidertanz out of Wyomie Campell (by Wolkenstein II x Forrest xx). She is bred by Maren Winterfeld-Brussow in Germany.
From Germany to Belgium
The mare was first competed as a 3-year old in 2011 by Jessica-Michelle Besselmann in a local show in Ettingen.
She sold to Stephane van Dun and moved to Belgium. He bred her to Sir Donnerhall and in 2014 a filly was born named Obsession VD (now owned by Isabelle de Cock and competed at international small tour level). Fiderprincess went on to produce five more foals: Prince Fursten VD (by Furstenball, 2015), Queen Unitanz VD (by United, 2016), Royal Princess VD (by Zack, 2017), Talentino VD (by Just Wimphof, 2019), and Vincitore VD (by Jameson, 2021).

In 2017 Fiderprincess made her show debut under Kara Bosman, who trained with Jeroen Devroe at the time. She premiered her at small tour level and rode her in her first international show at the 2018 CDI Hagen, followed by Deauville. Bosmal rode the mare in her first national Grand Prix tests in 2022.
Jeroen Devroe
As of May 2023 Jeroen Devroe began competing Fiderprincess; first at the CDN Oud-Turnhout. Their CDI debut was at the 2023 CDI Grote-Brogel, where they posted 69.217% in the Grand Prix. A month later they showed at the CDI Kronenberg. They were 6th at the Belgian Grand Prix Championships
In 2024 the duo was in the running for Belgian Olympic team selection. They placed fifth at the Belgian Dressage Championships and competed at CDI's in Le Mans, Lier and Aachen. At the CDIO 5* in Aachen they scored 66.783%. It was their last international together.

Shifting Down a Gear
The rising 18-year old mare has now shifted down a great and returned home to his owner, Stephane van Dun, where Kizzy Halkett is riding and learning from the Grand Prix mare.
"For me this is an opportunity to gain experience," Halkett told Eurodressage about learning from Fiderprincess. "If all goes well, I would love to show her so I can get used to riding Inter II and Grand Prix tests, but it all depends on her health. She might be 18 but she feels like a 7-year old."
