Anna Kasprzak reported that her 2016 World Young Horse Champion mare Victoria's Secret has passed away on 17 December 2025. She was 14 years old.
Victoria's Secret was a Rhinelander mare by Vitalis out of Fidelis (by Fidermark x Worlchamp) is bred by Walter Schulte-Böcker
Bundes and World Champion
The liver chestnut mare was first owned by Andrea Klüfers and Matthias Fieseler of Rhenania Pferde in Alpen, Germany, who bought her as a foal directly from the breeder.
When she was a young horse, the owners brought her to Isabell Werth's yard in Rheinberg, where the ride was allocated to Beatrice Buchwald (now Hoffrogge). The pair won the 2015 Bundeschampionate in the 4-year old riding horse mares and geldings class.
In 2016 they claimed the gold medal at the World Championships for young dressage horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, scoring 9.5 for trot, 9.3 for walk, 8.9 for canter, 9.8 for submission and 10 for perspective.
Twice Sold to Denmark
At the press conference following the World Championships, Buchwald already expressed a slight uncertainty about her future with this horse.
One month after the Championships, it was first reported that Victoria's Secret sold to Andreas Helgstrand and then business partner Bolette Wandt. Right after Helgstrand bought the mare, she qualified for the semi finals of the Danish Young Horse championships for 5-year-old horses under Andreas' stable jockey Betina Jæger.
However, two weeks later, still in September 2016, it was announced that Anna Kasprzak had purchased the mare from Helgstrand and Wandt. Anna had tried the mare during a training camp at Andreas Helgstrand at the end of September and it was love at first sight.

Anna took over the ride and presented the mare herself at the semi-finals and then finals of the 2016 Danish Young Horse Championships, winning the gold medal.

She was entered to compete in the German WCYH selection trials in June 2017 but withdrawn. It was initially reported she sustained a small injury.
Broodmare
The tendon injury she sustained proved more severe and it took two years and an operation to get her back. In April 2019 she began a long rehabilitation post-surgery but ended up not regaining the required full fitness for a career in sport.
Instead she was retired to the field with her buddies and became a broodmare.
Victoria's Secret produced six foals in total: the Rinelander bred Valerie RDS, ET by Franklin, 2018) in Germany, and five in Kasprzak's breeding programme: Venus F (ET by Total McLaren, 2021), Glamorous F (by Glamourdale, 2022), Verona F (by Morricone, 2023), Devito F (by Dynamic Dream, 2024) and Vinnie Who F (by Morricone, 2025).
Untimely Passing

"Vicky was a horse that made an impression on everyone who crossed her path, and therefore today is a day of sadness as we unfortunately had to say goodbye to our amazing Vicky due to health complications," Kasprzak stated. "Vicky's career has been challenged by health problems, which have meant that the mare has instead been honored with an almost equally important role as a broodmare. She will forever have a special place in the history of Future Dressage – in the sport, the breeding, and in the people who have had the pleasure of working with her."
