World Young Horse Champion Lyngbjergs St. Paris Moves to Blue Hors

Lyngbjergs St. Paris, the 2022 World Young Horse Champion, has moved to Blue Hors and got Nanna Skodborg Merrald as her new rider.

Lyngbjergs St. Paris is an 8-year old Danish warmblood mare by St Schufro out of Lyngbjergs Pari D'Oro (by Rockefeller x Akinos). She is bred by Bente Børjesson.

Victoria Vallentin

Dressage rider Victoria Vallentin and her life partner Jesper Bisgaard discovered Lyngbjergs St. Paris in March 2020 at the breeders and decided to buy her in partnership with United Dressage, an investment company directed by Jesper Arent Jørgensen, Eskil Peter Lund, and Christine Arent Risager.

The mare was not tall at the time and despite a good saddle test got the silver instead of the gold medal awarded at the 2020 Danish warmblood elite mare show.

With Victoria in the saddle St. Paris finished second at the 2022 Danish Warmblood 5-year old championship in Herning. A week before the 2022 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, United Dressage sold its 50% ownership share in St. Paris to Poul and Ingrid Thøgersen of Four Oaks Equestrian (they sponsor Carina Cassoe Kruth), but the ride remained with Vallentin.

Victoria and St. Paris won gold at the 2022 WCYH in Ermelo, where they placed third in the preliminary round and won the finals. A year later they returned to Ermelo but could not renew their title in the 6-year old division. They placed 4th. At the 2024 World Championships they were 7th in the Final and won the 2024 Danish Young Horse Championships.

In January 2025 Lyngbjergs St. Paris made her national debut at small tour level. It was the horse's last show. Vallentin stopped competing for a while as she gave birth to her first child.

Blue Hors

Lyngbjergs St. Paris has now moved to Blue Hors, where Nanna Skodborg Merrald has taken over the reins.
