Owned by horse dealer Rom Vermunt, the bay was licensed at the 2003 KWPN stallion Licensing and was the fourth best scoring stallion in the 2023 KWPN autumn performance test, scoring 82 points.  He is only been bred to a small amount of mares with just 19 foals registered with KWPN at this point.

The bay was trained and competed by Bart Veeze.   In 2024 the pair placed fourth at the Pavo Cup Finals in Ermelo, in 2025 they did not compete in the Pavo Cup Finals but instead went to the World Young Horse Championships in Verden, where they were 13th in the 5-year old Finals. Pina Colada M was listed as owned by Vermunt in partnership with Stephanie Scheerder. Earlier in the year Veeze and Pina Colada M won the 2025 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals in Den Bosch.

New Rider

Emmelie Scholtens announced that Pina Colada M is her "new boy in the stable." She added, "had a good day at the office. Love my job and my horses. They are amazing."

This is the second top ride that Veeze in a year time that Veeze had to pass on to a new rider. Last year he had to hand over the reins to World Champion Red Viper to Dinja van Liere, while his other WCYH finalist Nero sold to the U.S.A.
