Filly Felina BHN and colt Valeria became the winners of the 2025 Austrian Warmblood Foal Championships held in Stadl Paura on 19 - 21 September 2025.

Fillies: Felina BHN

No less than 23 foals competed in the filly division, which was won by Felina BHN (by Bon Esprit out of state premium mare Francine (by Van Vivaldi). Bred and owned by Franz Hummer-Niedermayr, this filly totalled 8.9 points with 9 for type and conformation,8.5 for correctness, and 9 for gaits.

Matthias Schmidhuber's filly Fabienne (by Franlin x Finest Selection) became the reserve champion with 8.8 points. She scored 8.5 for type and conformation, 8 for correctness and 9.5 for movement.

Colts: Valerio

Twenty colts battled it out for the national champion's title, which was won by Valeria (by V-Power out of Arizona (by Desperados). Bred and owned by Alexandra & Christoph Wörgötter, Valerio scored a total of 9.2 points with 9.5 for type, 9 for conformation, 8.5 for correctness, and 9.5 for gaits. Valerio was already the West Austrian Regional champion before heading to Stadl Paura.

Christian Rainer's Formidable (by Feliciano x Viva Gold) was the runner-up with a total of 9.0 points. This colt got 9.5 for type, 9 for conformation, 8.5 for correctness and 9 for gaits. Dam Arizona won

Ponies: Rheingolds Cosmopolitan Lady and Da Vinci

Nine pony fillies came to Stadl Paura and the title was won by Rheingolds Cosmopolitan Lady (by Rheingold x Cosmopolitan D), bred and owned by Johanna Siebenhandl. She scored 8,9 points.

The pony colt class was much smaller with only four competing. Da Vinci (by Double Jackpot PP x Bajazzo), bred and owned by Andrea Stockinger-Dollhäupl, won with 8,6 points.

Auction: Sissilotta Noir Price Highlight

The fourth ranked filly Sissilotta Noir (by Best Secret x Don Frederico), bred by Matthias Mayer, became the price highlight of the auction following the foal championship. She sold for 24,000 euro.

The colt champion Valerio sold for 18,000 euro to Germany, while Jux & Tollerei (by Va bene x Romeo) fetched 15,000 euro. Broadmoars Fortunato (by Feliciano x Dannebrog) went for 14,000 euro, Broadmoars Violetta (by So Perfect x Vitalis) had a hammer price of 11,000 euro

Best selling jumper foal was Uranus (by United Hearts x Casnos) which found a new owner in Germany for 16,000 euro.
