
The Hungarian based KWPN licensed stallion Trento B has passed away oN 26 August 2025. He was 25 years old.
Trento B was a 2000 born KWPN stallion by Krack C out of Ciolita (by Ramiro x Amor). He was bred P. Willems.
Kim Leduc
Trento B was licensed at the 2003 KWPN Stallion Licensing. He did his stallion performance test the same year and scored 8 for walk, trot, canter, 8.5 for potential, and 6 for jumping.
Kim Leduc received the stallion in training as a 2.5-year old and and with her in the saddle he was fourth in the 2004 Pavo Cup Finals and became reserve champion in the 2005 Pavo Cup Finals. He placed second in the 2005 KWPN/KNHS Stallion Competition Finals. He placed 6th in the "Young Stallions division" at the 2006 KWPN International Stallion Show in Zwolle.
Hungary
In 2013 Trento B sold via Anky van Grunsven to Hungary as a small tour schoolmaster for Hanna Kriszt.
Trento B remained in Hungary for the rest of his life, where he also spent his retirement.
Leduc posted the passing of the stallion on her Facebook. "What a special horse he was: incredibly sweet, incredibly talented, and incredibly intelligent. We experienced so many wonderful things with him, so many wonderful memories. He had some wonderful years in Hungary. We'll never forget you."
Legacy
In his Dutch days Trento B was owned by the trio R. Heuvelman, C. Sprangers, and C v.d. Steen. The stallion had an active breeding career in Holland as a youngster, thanks to his visibility in the show ring.
His most successful offspring is the British team horse Briolinca (Gareth Hughes) and international Grand Prix horse Ambience (Roland Tong), as well as small tour horses Artisto W (Lana Portejoie), Aesthete (Silva Martin), Toy Story (Katie Riley), Bing (Isobel Berrington), and Artiest (Dorothy Morkis).
