Romeo von Furstenball, Aleksandra Szulc's internationally competed small tour horse, has joined the Polish Pawluk family in Germany. Young Rider Caroline Pawlul has taken over the reins.
Romeo von Furstenball is an 8-year old Polish warmblood by Furstenball out of Rozalinda Wood (by Bretton Woods x Christ). He is bred by Piotr Wiese.

The black stallion made his show debut as a 3-year old in July 2020 in Poland under Adrian Seliga. He showed him once more in January 2021 before the ride went to Aleksandra Szulc.
Szulc and the 4-year old Romeo von Furstenball made their show debut in February 2021. In September they won the 2021 Polish Young Horse Championships for 4-year olds.
Horse Championship
Szulc took a break from competition in 2023 during her pregnancy and returned to the arena in February 2024. They showed at the 2024 CDI Achleiten in the 7-year old division, placing second twice. This year they competed in one international, in Olomouc, which was their first CDI at small tour level. They won the Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I and were second in the Kur.
Caroline Pawluk
Romeo von Furstenball has been sold to the Pawluk family as a new iron in the fire for Caroline Pawluk.
"I'm extremely happy to take over the ride from Aleksandra on this incredibly special," said Caroline. "I can't wait what the future brings us."
The 19-year old Pawluk first represented Poland at the 2021 Polish Junior Riders Championships in Oliva Nova aboard Fatum (by Furst Hohenstein x Furst Heinrich). In 2023 she moved to Young Riders level with the 12-year old Oldenburg bred Furst Fernando OLD (by Furstenball x Rosario). This year they were on the Polish team for the 2025 European Young Riders Championships in Kronberg.
