Jorinde Verwimp's Vicomte de Reyves Sold to Poland

Jorinde Verwimp's international small tour horse Vicomte de Reyves has been sold as a junior hopeful to Poland. The bay gelding was owned by Korean Eon Jin Chin.

Vicomte de Reyves is a 12-year old Hanoverian gelding by Viscount out of Donatrice (by Don Juan x Elimcal xx) . He is bred by Werner Strohsahl in Germany

French Start

Vicomte de Reyves first surfaced in the show ring in 2017 owned by Francoise Bourgeois.

Between 2017 and 2022 he was shown nationally in France by team members of Pamfou dressage.

At the end of 2021 the horse sold to Korean Eon Jin Chin, who also bought Zocraat, Lancelot, Fancy, Bolena and Jedai de Massa in France between 2017 and 2022.

Jorinde Verwimp

Vicomte moved to Belgium and the ride was allocated to Olympian Jorinde Verwimp.

She premiered him internationally at the CDI Le Mans in February 2024, winning the Intermediaire I. They were back on top three weeks later winning the Inter I Kur at the CDI Lier. From there they went to the CDI Aachen Festival 4 Dressage, Hagen, Aachen Dressage Days, and Riyadh.

The pair did two shows in 2025: Lier and Aachen Festival. In their time together, they won six international tests. Jorinde and Vicomte also won bronze at the 2024 Belgian Small Tour Championships.

Junior Schoolmaster

The tall bay gelding has now been sold to 16-year old Julia Preisner.

Preisner has been competing nationally in Poland on horses Schöne (by Sir Winston Churchill), Interia (by Irak) and as of May 2024 at junior level on Icoon (by Johnson x Florestan). Most recently she finished fourth at the 2025 Polish Indoor Championships.

She trains with Jarek Wierzchowski, a 2005 Polish European Championship team rider who has a connection to Belgium as he briefly rode at Dressage stable De Steppe in Mol, Belgium.
