German Grand Prix rider Bernadette Brune has sold her equestrian property, Domaine Equestre des Grands Pins, in Vidauban, France.

CDI's in Vidauban

Brune, who lived in Monaco at the time, purchased the yard as a small trotting stable in 2006 and expanded into a state of the art equestrian facility where some of Europe's top international dressage and show jumping competitions were held from 2009 till 2015.

Vidauban hosted its first CDI in 2009 and as of 2010 offered a French "sunshine" tour to competitors by organizing back to back competitions in the sun in the late winter/early spring months.  The venue hosted a World Dressage Masters, several FEI Nations Cup, and the highlight event, the 2015 European Junior/Young Riders Championships including the inaugural European Children Championships.

In 2016 Brune relocated to Germany, where she built Gestüt Brune, to be closer to western European competition sport and German training. She was B-squad listed at the time with Spirit of the Age OLD.

A New Chapter for Grands Pins

The facility continued to run as an equestrian center with national level shows. It has now found a new owner.

"I'm delighted and proud to be handing over the reins to a passionate woman with the same ambition as myself: to make this place a centre of excellence for equestrian sport," Brune announced. "Major projects are already underway, with developments designed to provide the best possible conditions for horses and riders to compete. I look to the future of the Domaine with enthusiasm and confidence.  I wish the new owner every success, and I'm delighted to know that this wonderful story that began almost 20 years ago will continue to gallop towards excellence."

The new owner is a Chinese investor who has been based in France for twenty years. Brune is thrilled to pass on the property to this dedicated lady who shares the same vision for the future with Bernadette.

"I'm thrilled to have found someone who takes over my whole team and clients and fulfills my dreams of an extraordinary competition centre. I saw the plans, it will be spectacular," Brune told Eurodressage.
