The Grand Prix level trained KWPN licensed stallion Four Legends KS has been sold to Austria. The black will continue his career Austrian Young Riders' team member Felicita Simoncic.

Four Legends KS is by Wynton out of Vienna (by Ferro x De Niro). He is bred by J.M. Jansen and G. Jansen-Blanken from Joppe, The Netherlands.

Licensed Stallion

Originally named Fellini, the black was licensed at the 2013 KWPN Stallion Licensing in Den Bosch, the year Franklin became the champion.

Arthur Kleijwegt bought the stallion at the 2013 KWPN Select Sale, but he didn't do the performance test within the normal time frame. Instead he was AES approved but after the 2015 Pavo Cup, the KWPN licensing committee invited Four Legends to re-enter the performance test in the autumn of 2015. He did not show up for veterinary reasons.

In the end it took until the spring of 2016 before he did his mandatory 21-day performance test, scoring 85 points.

Fellini KS

The black was first competed as Fellini KS by Dinja van Liere. As a 4-year old he won the President Dressage Cup and was third in the 2014 VSN Trophy Finals

In December 2014 Kleijwegt decided to end his collaboration with Van Liere and gave the ride on Fellini to Marieke van der Putten.

In 2015 the stallion underwent a name change and became known as "Four Legends KS".  With Van der Putten he was third at the 2015 Pavo Cup Finals and sixth at the 2015 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany.  In 2016 finished fourth at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, The Netherlands, with a big score of 87.0 points.

Four Legends KS was put up for auction in the 2016 Excellent Dressage Sales, which took place during the 2016 World Championships in Ermelo.

He sold for a whopping 605,000 euro to Taiwanese investor Vincent Chen, who is an exclusive car dealer. The management of the horse was allocated to Dutch horse dealer Judy de Winter. In the long run Four Legends KS was intended for the young Asian Games hopeful rider Johnny Kao, but he never got to compete the horse.

De Winter matched Four Legends KS to Dutchman Philip van Ommen.

Eight Riders in Six Years

Under De Winter's care, Four Legends KS was produced up to Grand Prix level, but the stallion had a string of no less 8 riders on his back in six years time.

First Philip van Ommen took over the ride, then Stephanie Kooijman rode the stallion to the victory in the 2017 KWPN Stallion Competition Finals. However, after a few months, it was Roos van Schaik's turn.

In October 2018 it was Dominique Filion who rode the horse, a year later Stephanie de Frel took place in the saddle, and then there was briefly Lynne Maas, who rode the stallion in his first Intermediaire II test. After Lynne, Ferenc Damen showed the stallion at in Holland, and finally in August, rider number 8 was matched to the stallion, Jeanine Nieuwenhuis, who competed him in his first Grand Prix tests.

Four Legends KS has now been sold to Austrian Felicita Simoncic.

"Can’t put into words how excited I am to have you join the family," said Felicita. "As always the biggest thank you goes to my Parents and the Team around me that made this possible. Can’t wait for our journey to start."

In January 2020 Simoncic purchased the KWPN gelding Ivar DE in Holland and he took her to the 2022 European Young Riders Championships in Hartpury, where they were fourth in the Kur to Music finals.
