Danish Grand Prix team rider Daniel Bachmann Andersen has premiered a new horse, Helen Langehanenberg's former ride Vayron.

Vayron is an 11-year old Westfalian stallion by Vitalis out of XX (by Gloster x Ramiro x Perser xx). He is bred by Heinrich Sterthoff.

1.92 m Tall

The bay stallion is  a real powerhouse, standing 1.92m tall. He was first competed at the age of 5 by Stefanie Serowy before owners Sandra and Rudolf Spiekermann moved the horse in training with Helen Langehanenberg.

The new duo made its show debut in November 2018 in Ankum at M-level and in 2019 he was moved up to S-level and the developing Prix St Georges horse tests. He qualified in Hagen for the 2019 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals and finished sixth in Frankfurt.

In the summer of 2020 he moved up to Intermediaire II level and in 2021 was only shown thrice: Hagen, Balve and Ankum.

Move to Denmark

Daniel Bachmann and Vayron
Three months ago the owners moved Vayron to Daniel Bachmann's yard in Denmark.

The pair made its show debut yesterday at the Kirstinelund Horse Festival and scored a winning 76.500% in their first Grand Prix

"Helen had him in training and she has done a great job with him, but he is 190 cm stallion so therefore the owners wanted to try with a bigger rider and they approached me and I am very happy and proud to have him in my stable," Daniel told Eurodressage.

When asked what the future has in store for them, Daniel replied, "I will start to compete some CDIs over the winter and see where the journey takes us. He is currently not for sale. I am really excited as he has soooo much quality."
