Portugal
The Portuguese equestrian federation has made their selection of horses that will represent Portugal at the 2022 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo on 7 - 11 September 2022.
Portugal is eligible to send two horses per age category and has nominated both home bred, Lusitano horses, as well as German warmbloods. Portuguese and Brazilian riders will be competing them in Ermelo.
The selected horses are:
5-year olds
- Ana Teresa Pires on Fogel vom Lauf (WESTF, by Furstenball x San Amour)
- Joao Victor Marcari Oliva on Nuelo Campline (LUS, by Escorial x Quixote)
6-year olds
- Manuel Vacas Carvalho on Missanga (LUS, by Rubi x Xarope)
- Ana Teresa Pires on Van Damme (HANN, by Vivaldi x Hertug)
7-year olds
- Joao Pedro Moreira on Furst Kennedy (OLD, by Fursten-Look x Don Kennedy)
- Nuno Chaves de Almeida on Lizarran (LUS, by Zaire x Xaquiro)
