The German Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent Germany at the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland, on 13 - 18 August 2019.

Pony team trainer Connie Endres based her decision for the team on the three official selection trials that were held: the 2019 Preis der Besten in May, the 2019 CDIO-PJYR Hagen in June, and the 2019 CDI Leudelange (July).

The third and final trial in Leudelange, Luxembourg, took place on Tuesday 2 July, where the German selectors (Endres, Caro Roost, Kerstin Holthaus) were remarkably allowed to sit ringside in private in the empty judges box at E.

The German team for Strzegom includes:

  • Shona Benner - Der Kleine Sunnyboy
  • Antonia Busch-Kuffner - Daily Pleasure
  • Rose Oatley - Daddy Moon
  • Lana Pinou Baumgurtel - Massimiliano

The reserve is the winner of Leudelange team test, Johanna Kullmann on Champ of Class
