Riders Named on American Teams for 2019 CDIO Wellington

US Equestrian has named the following combinations to U.S. Dressage Team and the U.S. CDIO-U25 Team for the FEI Nations Cup™ in Wellington, Florida on 13- 17 March 2019.

Team competition will occur from March 13-14 during the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 10. The jog will take place on March 12 and competition will get underway on March 13 as newly appointed Chef d’Equipe and Technical Advisor Debbie McDonald leads the U.S. contingent on home soil.

The FEI Nations Cup in Wellington is ridden over two levels with mixed teams of small and big tour riders. 

The U.S. senior team includes:

  • Jennifer Baumert (Wellington, Fla.) and Handsome, Betsy Juliano LLC’s 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding
  • Shelly Francis (Loxahatchee, Fla.) and Danilo, Patricia Stempel’s 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding
  • Ashley Holzer (Wellington, Fla.) and Valentine, her nine-year-old Hanoverian mare
  • Charlotte Jorst (Reno, Nev.) and Kastel’s Nintendo, Kastel Denmark’s 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood stallion

The Under 25 team includes:

  • Lauren Asher (Wellington, Fla.) and West Side, Select Equine International’s 16-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding
  • Kerrigan Gluch (Wellington, Fla.) and Bolero CXLVIII, Hampton Green Farm’s 14-year-old P.R.E. stallion
  • Natalie Pai (Wellington, Fla.) and Unlimited, Melanie Pai’s 17-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding
