Switzerland's number one Grand Prix rider Marcela Krinke-Susmelj is no longer training with Dutch-German trainer Ton de Ridder.

De Ridder coached Krinke-Susmelj to four World Cup Finals, several European and World Championships and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

"The collaboration with Marcela has been ended in mutual agreement," De Ridder explained briefly.

Krinke's long-time partner is Irine Meyer's 17-year old Danish warmblood Molberg (by Michellino) with whom she has been competing at international Grand Prix level since 2011. The horse is now doing his 9th year already at top level, making his CDI Grand Prix debut in 2010 under Danish Sanne Henningsen.

Marcela has also been showing three other FEI level horses, all owned by her loyal sponsor: 11-year old Danish bred Sonny Star (by Sunny Boy x Midt West Ibi Light), 13-year old Danish bred Sopran (by Soprano x Akinos) and the most recent acquisition 10-year old Westfalian Carissimo (by Caretino).
