The 5-year old Findelkind and the 6-year old Bombastic became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Brandenburg Anhalt regional championships in Neustadt/Dosse on 15 - 16 July 2017.
In the 5-year old division Wibke Hartmann-Stommel and Hildegard Rohmann's Westfalian gelding Findelkind (by First Selection x Donnerschlag) were the supreme winners with an 8.3 total score. The dark bay gelding got 7.5 for walk, and 8.5 for trot, canter, submission and general impression. Stephanie Fiedler and the German Sport Horse bred Quanta Costa (by Quaterback x Insterburg) were second with 8.0. The chestnut stallion got 8 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Anna Weilert and the German Sport Horse bred Quaneur (by Quadroneur x Dionysos) tied in second place with 8.0. The bay stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression.
In the 6-year old division only one combination was able to achieve the selection standard of 8.0 or higher to make it to Warendorf. The winner of the class: Anna Weilert on the German Sport Horse Bombastic (by Boston x Dionysos) scored 8.2. The bay stallion got 7 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Katharina Dietl and the Oldenburg stallion Zansibar (by Zack x Rubinstein) were the runners-up with 7.7. The black stallion got 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for trot, 7 for submission and 8 for general impression.
