Fey and Rather Be Big L Win 2017 Ingolstadt Bundeschampionate Qualifier

2017 Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Fey and the 6-year old Rather Be Big L were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the annual regional show in Ingolstadt-Hagau, Germany, on 7 - 9 July 2017.

Stefanie Schüle and Paul Schlipf's Wurttemberger mare Fey (by Furstenball x Rotspon) were the winners of the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds with a total score of 8.2. The mare scored 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Stefanie Lugge-Kerner and Samuel Schatmann's Westfalian stallion Voyageur (by Vitalis x Levados) tied in second place on 8.0 with Swiss Raphaelle Reber on Marlyse Schatzmann's Hanoverian gelding Friendscout (by Foundation x Read Diamond). Voyageur got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression, while Friendscout scored 8.5 for trot, 7 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. 

Alexandra Sessler and Dietmar Krautmann's Oldenburg gelding Rather Be Big L (by Romanov x Laudibilis) won the trophy in the 6-year old division with an 8.0 total score. The gelding got 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 8.0 for general impression. Geertje Hesse-Wadenspanner and Irina Resinger's Hanoverian gelding Dotor Davidson (by Don Frederico x Lauries Crusador xx) were the runners-up with 7.8. The dark bay gelding got 8 for walk and trot, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8 for general impression.
