The 14-year old internationally competed Grand Prix horse Unlimited has been sold to Ashley Holzer's student Pattijean "PJ" Rizvi. The Dutch warmblood gelding by Jazz x Winckenburg is flying to the U.S.A. today.

The tall, long legged Unlimited has been on the market since November 2013 when the horse was moved away from Stephanie Peters, who trained and competed the gelding up to Grand Prix level. At the height of their partnership, the duo was a member of the Dutch A-Team.

Unlimited was moved to Madeleine Witte-Vrees' dealing yard and continued his training under Vrees. The new pair competed at two international events: the CDI Munich Indoor in November and the 2014 CDI Roosendaal Indoor in December. Unlimited is bred by Stal Arends and J. Sturkenboom-Vernooy and was owned by Brigitte Vonk and Stable Perlee.

The chestnut gelding has now been sold to P.J. Rizvi after a successful try-out a month ago.

"P.J. decided to buy the horse as she felt he could give her valuable Grand Prix ring experience and she loves him," coach Holzer told Eurodressage. "When she tried him it was like a match made in heaven.  He is beautifully trained.  Stephanie and Madeleine have done such a lovely job training him.  He is light and forward and loves to work. Sjef (Janssen, Ashley's trainer) thought the horse would be a great fit and he was right. She can't wait to show him in florida."

P.J. Rizvi's husband Suhail heads Rizvi Traverse Management, a company which has invested in online media such as Twitter as well as in the movie entertainment business. They were producers of the world famous Twilight movies.

P.J. has been a long time client and student of Ashley Holzer. Rizvi also owns Ashley's 2012 Canadian Olympic ride Breaking Dawn, as well as her current Grand Prix horse Tiva Nana.  Rizvi's daughter Farah (11) recently started campaigning the 11-year old New Forest Pony Prince Z (by Make My Day), which was a Dutch team medal winning pony under Febe van Zwambagt in 2011 and which sold to Marie Linsenhoff as FEI level step-up pony that year.
