The 5-year old Belfast Ra and the 6-year old Furst Oldenburg were the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes at the regional show in Kreuth on 14 June 2014. The 5-year old class was judged by Heidi Linz, Kay Knoll, and Oliver Guthmann, the 6-year old class by Linz, Guthmann and Sandra Ernst.
In the 5-year old division Rudolf Widmann steered his own and Irina Reisinger's Hanoverian gelding Belfast Ra (by Benetton Dream x Florestan) to victory with an 8.1 total score. The pair got 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impresssion. The runner up was Matthias Rath on his stepmom Ann Kathrin Linsenhof's Oldenburg stallion Sir Picardi (by Sir Donnerhall x Don Picardo) with 7.8. They earned 7.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
Matthias Rath surfaced at the top of the leader board in the 6-year old M-level dressage horse test on Linsenhoff's Oldenburg gelding Furst Oldenburg (by Fidertanz x Sandro Hit). The pair totalled 8.2 with 8 for walk and trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Meike Lang and her own Baden Wurttemberger gelding Lord Frodo (by Lord Loxley x Dr. Jackson) were second with 8.1. They got 8 for trot, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
