The 5-year old Damon's Satelite and the 6-year old Rocky Lee were the winners in the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show at Silverthof in Oer-Erkenschwick on 14 - 16 June 2013. Twenty seven horses in total gathered to contest the L and M-level qualification tests.
The 5-year old division was won by Helen Langehanenberg aboard Christian Becks' Westfalian bred Damon's Satelite (by Damon Hill x Rubin Royal). The duo scored a strong 8.6 overall score to place at the top and far ahead of the competition. Stefanie Wolf and the Westfalian bred For Comtess Royal (by Florenciano x Show Star) finished second with 8.1. Two combinations tied in third place with 8.0: Anke Simon on Hollister (by Hotline x Don Frederico) and Johanna Klippert on Franziskus (by Fidertanz x Alabaster).
In the 6-year old category Johan Hinnemann's student Stefanie Wolf steered the Westfalian Rocky Lee (by Rock Forever x Justinian xx) to victory with 8.3. The horse was previously competed by Anke Simon in last year's Bundeschampionate qualifiers. German A-team rider Fabienne Lutkemeier and Fats Domino (by Fidertanz x De Niro) were the runners-up with 8.1. They tied with Annika Slüter on the Oldenburg bred Sir Cedric (by Samarant x Argentinus).
