The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- Prince William and Kate Middleton -- and Prince Harry are in Arosa, Switzerland, this weekend to attend the wedding of Laura Bechtolsheimer to her long-time boyfriend Mark Tomlinson on 2 March 2013.
The British royals are close friends to Tomlinson. William and Harry have played polo with Mark for many years and the Prince of Wales is a close friend of his parents, who own the exclusive
Beaufort Polo Club near Highgrove.
Tomlinson is marrying the 28-year old Bechtolsheimer in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Tschuggen hotel owned by Laura's grandparents in Switzerland. Laura Bechtolsheimer is the grand daughter of German billionaire and property magnate Karl Heinz-Kipp.
The royals are among 250 invited guests and on Friday 1 March they dined with fellow wedding guests at a mountain restaurant, where they feasted on raclette, the traditional Swiss cheese dish.
Last Tuesday Laura tweeted: "Horses all gave me a great final pre-married life ride! Off to Switzerland now to get into wedding mode..eeek! #grown up!?" One month earlier Laura was wondering out loud: "I am 28.. Nearly married.. What's going on in the world??!! Sure I was 18 a few minutes ago!"
Laura told Eurodressage that she will be wearing a custom made dress by British fashion designer Bruce Oldfield.
