Carina Nevermann Torup Selected for 2011 Young Riders World Cup Final

Danish E.C. Young Rider bronze medallist Carina Nevermann Torup has been selected by her federation to represent Denmark at the 2011 Young Riders World Cup Finals held at the 2011 CDI-W Frankfurt in Germany 14-18 December.

According to the Danish Federation, Nevermann Torup achieved the highest average qualification score of all 14 finallists, which have been nominated for Frankfurt.

Aboard her Danish warmblood gelding Blue Boy (by Don Schufro x Chromico) Carina achieved team silver and individual test bronze at the 2011 European Young Riders Championships in Broholm, Denmark.

"It's a dream come true. I'm super happy and proud," said Nevermann Torup about her selection. 'This is something I had always hoped for since my time as a junior and with the success I had with Blue Boy this year it finally happened. I'll be training for a place in the top three. I'm looking forward to riding at the show in Frankfurt of which I've heard it's fantastic."
