Darnell, FS Demirel and Sirius Black were the grand champions of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the big regional show in Neuss-Grefrath on 3 - 5 June 2011. While Darnell was the sole winner in the 5-year old dressage horse test, FS Demirel and Sirius Black had to share the trophy in the 6-year old division.
P.S.I. in-house rider Stefanie Kerner is on a roll with her 5-year olds winning the class with Darnell and placing second with Diamond's Diva. Aboard the 2010 PSI Auction horse Darnell (by Don Frederico x Rotspon x Weltmeyer), Kerner scored a very decent 8.3 which made her win the class and earn a ticket to the Finals in Warendorf. She beat herself aboard the Oldenburg bred mare Diamond's Diva (by Diamond Hit) with whom she scored 8.10. Lydia Camp and her Rhinelander mare Whitney (by Wolkenstürmer) tied with Kerner on second place and can also go to Warendorf.
Three 6-year olds obtained the qualification score for the Bundeschampionate. The winners of the class were Jana Freund on FS Demirel (by Dimaggio) and Charline Wetzeler on the Hanoverian Sirius Black (by Stedinger x Weltmeyer). They both got 8.2 from the panel of judges.
Stefaie Steinhauf followed in third place with an 8.0 earning ride on the Rhinelander Sunshine Lady (by Sir Donnerhall I). She tied with Max Wadenspanner on the Bavarian Pagalli (by Pasolongo).
