Iron Spring Farm is pleased to announce the 11-year-old KWPN stallion Cum Laude has been approved for breeding by the Hanoverian Verband. This latest accolade is added to his KWPN and Oldenburg stallion approvals.
Cum Laude, by Apache, Preferent out of a Weltmeyer mare, had a successful small tour career, including wins at Prix St. Georges through the CDI level in Europe. His offspring are now drawing attention for their exceptional movement and great temperaments.
Hanoverian Approved
The Hanoverian Verband and the American Hanoverian Society required approval on pedigree, performance in sport with international scores, radiographs, and an in-person inspection. During the inspection, Cum Laude received 9s on impulsion/elasticity, neck and typiness/masculinity. He received 8s on overall impression, conformation, walk, head, saddle position and frame, bringing his final score to 8.16.
“We’re thrilled that Cum Laude is now approved Hanoverian and Oldenburg, along with his KWPN approval,” said Mary Alice Malone, owner of Iron Spring Farm. “Now we’re able to offer his bloodlines, movement and wonderful character to more North American breeders.”
