2020 CDI Crozet canceled

Three French long-standing competitions on the 2020 show calendar have been cancelled even though international dressage competition, post covid-19, will kick off at the end of June.

The CDI Deauville (16 - 19 July), the CDI Crozet () and the CDI Saumur (23 - 27 September) have all been cancelled.

The main argument for the cancellation is that the health and safety requirements are too complicated and expensive to make an international show viable.

Due to the corona pandemic, the CDI Crozet at the magnificent Jiva Hill Resort moved from the beginning of August to the last weekend of the month and all systems seemed go. However, the organizing committee decided to pull the plug on its 2020 edition this week.

"It was not an easy decision but we prefer to cancel our 2020 CDI and reschedule for next year," Crozet organizer Etienne Zeller told Eurodressage.
