The Wahler family invites you to the 37th edition of the Klosterhof Medingen auction of talented dressage sport horses, directly sourced from its breeding programme and network of breeders. The auction in Bad Bevensen on 31 October 2026.
"Nearly all the horses in our collection have already been presented at competitions and have impressively confirmed their exceptional quality in sporting comparisons," said organizer Christoph Wahler. "The combination of outstanding quality, meticulous training, and sporting potential makes this collection truly special."
Guests at the auction will get a special treat as 2022 German team rider Benjamin Werndl will be teaching a masterclass at 15h00 preceding the auction. Tickets for the masterclass can be obtained here.
Auction Highlights
The collection of 21 hand-picked young dressage horses of outstanding quality are seeking to find new owners.
The auction lot opens catalog nr 1, Global Hope (by Global Player x Fidertanz), the 2023 Bundeschampion and licensed stallion. The 6-year old stallion impresses with an impressive track record. In 2023, he was crowned Bundeschampion and in 2024, 2025 and 2026 he qualified for the Bundeschampionat
once again each year. An exceptional stallion with outstanding sporting quality – a horse of the highest calibre.
Catalog nr 2, Valendero (by Va Pensiero x Furstbischof) is highly ranked in a riding horse competition. In terms of athleticism, long legs and quality of movement, he is something quite special. With his elegant appearance and expressive gait, he captures everyone’s attention. An exceptional horse with limitless potential.
Catalog nr 3, Donnkor (by Danone x Top Gear) is a 4-year old gelding who has triumphed in a riding horse class, impressing with his exceptional quality. With almost flawless grace, he presents himself with spectacular movement and impressive expressiveness. An elegant athlete with the potential to tackle the major challenges of dressage.

Viewings and Try-Outs
There will live presentations of the riding horses in the auction on 24, 28 and 30 October 2026 before the auction auction 31 October at 18h00
All horses can be seen in the daily training and try outs can be arranged on appointment.
