Swedish para team rider Pam Svane has been awarded the Swedish Sports Federation elite sports scholarship.
She is one of 60 athletes to receive the scholarship for 2026-2027. Vaulter Olivia Neilands is the only other "equestrian" to also get the funding. No less than 280 athletes from 42 disciplines applied for it
Svane represents the Strömsholms equestrian sport club and studies at Mälardalen University. She also made her World Championship debut in Aachen, after a shooting career in para-dressage where she had only been classified as a para-rider for three years. Pam has previously participated in ATG Talent Para-dressage.
Pal will receive 60,000 SEK (5,400 euro) and access to support in areas such as sports psychology and sports medicine from the Swedish Sports Federation's elite sports operations. The aim is to strengthen the conditions for performance, well-being and a sustainable sports career both during and after the active investment.
