Lova Wessblad's double World Young Horse Championship ride Simmebros De Luze has been sold.

Simmebros De Luze is an 8-year old Swedish warmblood by Ironman H out of Simmebros Bisquit (by Shooting Star x Florestan x Dramaturg). She's bred by Ulrika Bynander.

Sport Career

Owned by the breeder, the chestnut mare is out of Bisquit, which Finnish rider Yvonne Osterholm competed at the 2016 World Young Horse Championships. De Luze did her young horse performance test in Bollerup that same year and scored 8 for walk, 7.5 for trot, 9 for canter, and 8s for conformation.

She was first put in training with Camilla Axelsson. She debuted the mare in June 2021. Lovisa Syldevik (née Wessblad) took over the ride and premiered her in competition in May 2022 . In 2023 the pair got long-listed for the Swedish team for the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, but ended up being second reserve.

In 2024 their moment came and they went to Ermelo, where they finished 26th in the 6-year old consolation final with 70.80 points. They were 6th at the 2024 Swedish Warmblood Young Horse Championships.

They returned to the WCYH in 2025 in Verden and placed 6th in the 7-year old consolation final with 74,831%. They finished the year with a bronze medal in the 7-year old division at the 2025 Swedish Young Horse Championships. It was their last show as a pair.

Sold

Simmebros De Luze has now been sold to Swedish pony rider Tove Liljesäter Winblad as her junior hopeful.

"So thankful for these 5 years with this girl. From a more wild than tame 3-year-old to a horse that has taken me to so many dreams," said Lovisa. "She has probably taught me at least as much along the way as I have taught her."

Tove has been successfully competed at national FEI pony level in Sweden on her pony Runas Chakira (by Pentyparc Shonnyn Du x Okänd).
