Ayden Uhlir and Billy LaVoice got married. Congratulations!

Former international U.S. youth rider Ayden Uhlir, the 2013 North American Young Riders Champion, got married on the weekend of 5 September 2026. The 31-year old Uhlir and her fiancé Billy LaVoice tied the knot. Uhlir competed internationally aboard Sjapoer (by Contango x Wolfgang) from 2011 till 2016 . They went to the 2011 and 2012 North American Junior Riders Championships, winning individual silver and at the 2013 North American Young Riders Championships she won double individual gold. In 2015 she joined a group of American youth riders to compete at the CDIO-YR Hagen Future Champions in Germany before moving Sjapoer up to Under 25 level in 2016. Sjapoer was the first and only horse she showed internationally. He went on to show nationally with Eric Di Benedetto. Ayden continued nationally with Furst Fuego (by Furst Romancier x Ragazzo) and Sinatra (by Sezuan x Lauries Crusador xx). Her last show was in October 2020. Ayden gave up riding.

Dutch U25 team rider Elise Anker has taken over the ride on the KWPN licensed stallion Patheon (by Hermes. x San Remo). Anker, who owns the former Dutch Glock stables, is co-owner of the stallion with Joop van Uytert The bay is the first KWPN licensed son by Hermes, whom Elise took to the European Under 25 Championships in Budapest this summer after the stallion's successful career under Dinja van Liere.

In Sweden versatile international rider Carl Hedin married his partner, Filip Holmström, on the weekend of 18 - 20 September 2026. The couple celebrated their union at Gaustablikk Fjellresort, a hotel in Rjukan, Norway. Holmström works as a feature producer at Swedish television station TV4.

Green and Fantabulous in 2025
British pare dressage rider Jemima Green is pregnant with her first child. Horse & Hound reported that Jemima and husband Ed Chapman are due via surrogate in March 2027. Green represented Great Britain at the 2025 European Para Championships in Ermelo and the 2026 World Championships in Aachen She won individual bronze medals at the Europeans and Kur silver in Aachen.

Belgian youth team rider and Under 25 Grand Prix rider Laura Luyten has concluded her studies and been accepted in front of the bar as a lawyer. "Last week I finally got the news I had been waiting for a long time: after 6 years of university and 3 years of law firm internship I can officially call myself a full-fledged lawyer," Luyten reported. "Those who know me a little, know that those nine years were everything but obvious: studying, files, sessions, learning moments, clients, a lot on the way... and combine all that with my own sports career." Congratulations. Laura will focus on criminal and equestrian law.

German dressage rider Sophie Holkenbrink gave birth to her first child, a baby boy. Holkenbrink, who is the daughter of renowned stallion keeper Wilhelm Holkenbrink and a former international youth rider, got married and now goes by the name Sophie Sunderhaus. She last competed internationally in 2017 with sire Rock Forever.

Cathrine Dufour announced that she, her wife Rasmine and the Zinglersen family have invested in a new young horse: Agerbæks Saconte. The chestnut is a 5-year old Oldenburg stallion by Viconte out of Sunrise Fuglsang (by Zack x Romanov). In 2024 he sold in the Blue Hors stud clearance sale. He was shown only once before in Denmark by Marianne Øveraas Ellingsen in a 4-year old class. 

Donato Farm in Wellington, Florida, purchased the 6-year old Dutch warmblood Bravour NLS for American Grand Prix rider Sarah Tubman-Lockman to ride. Bravour NLS is by Barton (also ridden by Tubman) out of Vienna (by Don Schufro x Flemmingh). He is bred by P. Stegenga and was competed in The Netherlands by Tom Verhoeven. The stallion is NRPS licensed.

Ridehesten reported that jumping rider Helle Møller Andersen and Per Christensen of  Stald Maskedal will be moving to Stutteri Ask and Blue Hors on 1 December 2026 to strengthen the team. Helle will work as event coordinator alongside Betina Møller Jensen, while Per will help with the stallion selection alongside Kaj Rosenlund.

Horses.nl reported that a new record age has been set at national Grand Prix level in The Netherlands. Dutch junior rider Floor Kulik and her 2025 European Children Championship horse Bella Rosa (by Belissimo M x Hohenstein) competed in the Grand Prix at the CDN Oudenbosch and scored 61,087%. Aged 15 and 3 months she is now Holland's youngest Grand Prix rider. Thalia Rockx was amongst the previous record setters
