The Hanoverian breeding stallion and rising Grand Prix horse Be Sure FRH has been sold into Australian ownership.

Be Sure is an 8-year old Haoverian by Benicio out of Susi Sorglos (by Scuderia x Lauries Crusador xx). He is bred by Ludwig Fuchs.

Licensed Stallion

He was licensed at the 2020 Hanoverian stallion licensing in Verden, where he was named a premium stallion. Andreas Helgstrand and his investors were on a shopping spree at this auction and bought four stallions, including Be Sure, for 380,000 euro.

The bay was approved for Oldenburg in January 2021. He did the 2021 Danish Warmblood 35-Day Stallion Performance Test and scored the third highest mark of 868,0 points. At the 2022 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing they named him champion of the licensing in the 4-year old group. In 2022 he became the most used breeding stallion in Denmark, having covered 122 DWB mares. However, with "foreign" mares added to the tally, Be Sure was the second most used stallion of 2022 in Denmark.

So far he has four licensed sons, Brando de Fontaine, Jaissle's Beach Boy, Bretagne VDL, and Strandagergaards Be Real.

Werth and Helgstrand have sold Be Sure to their newly acquired Australian client, Jasmine Haynes.

"Be Sure is developing really well, and we are very pleased with his progress," Jasmine told Eurodressage. "Having the opportunity to work with a horse of Be Sure’s calibre, alongside Isabell and benefiting from her exceptional training and experience, is something I really value. I’m excited about continuing to develop our partnership and what the future holds.”

The Under 25 rider has been training in Germany at Hof Kasselmann but recently switched to Helgstrand and Werth for coaching. She also bought the Australian Olympic team horse Quincy B in August.
