Early Retirement

Von Borries has now confirmed that Feingefühl has been retired from sport.

"She is right now retired from sport and will hopefully get a foal," Alix told Eurodressage. She has not yet decided on a sire for the planned foal.

The decision for an early retirement was made with "a heavy heart and tears in my eyes". Alix calls Feingefühl her "once-in-a-lifetime horse. Together, we created so many unforgettable memories, celebrated incredible successes and experienced moments I will carry in my heart forever."

Alix added, "It is hard to imagine not having you by my side anymore. But after everything you have given me, you deserve nothing more than to enjoy this next chapter of your life — and hopefully one day give us a little mini Feingefühl. Our journey is far from over, it is simply changing. From now on, I get to watch you start a new adventure."
