The 11-year old Hanoverian mare Lovely Leni was named Grand Champion of the 2026 Devon Breed Show on Wednesday 23 September 2026.

Dressage at Devon continued its tradition of showcasing the U.S.A.'s most promising sport horses with standout performances, polished presentations, and championship moments across materiale, young horse, and mature horse divisions. From current‑year foals to seasoned stallions, handlers and riders brought their best to Devon.

Grand Championship: Lovely Leni

The pinnacle of Wednesday’s competition came as champions from across the day returned to the Dixon Oval for the Grand Championship. Judges evaluated overall quality, athleticism, and presence to determine the 2026 Grand Champion and Reserve.

The recipient of the 2026 Dressage at Devon Grand Champion title was Lovely Leni (by Livaldon x Floriscount), an 11-year-old Hanoverian mare owned and shown by Cara Klothe and bred by Dieter Kreyenhagen in Germany. The mare was unbeatable over the last two days of competition, also claiming wins in the Four-Year-Old and Older Yeld Mares class, the USDFBC Mare Championship, and the Mature Horse Championship.

Usher ISF

Reserve Grand Championship honors went to Usher ISF (by Cum Laude x Escorial), owned and bred by Iron Spring Farm Inc. (USA) and shown by Quinnten Alston. The two-year-old KWPN stallion claimed both the USDFBC Colt and Gelding Championship and the Young Horse Championship on his way to the Reserve Grand Champion title.
