From 18–20 September 2026, the Austrian Horse Centre in Stadl-Paura will host the AWÖ Bundeschampionat, bringing together Austria’s finest young warmbloods and offering an exciting glimpse into the future of Austrian breeding.
A hybrid foal auction will conclude the weekend, giving dressage enthusiasts the opportunity to buy some of Austria's best bred and decorated foals.
Austria’s Future Dressage Stars
Austria’s most talented young dressage horses will compete for the coveted Bundeschampionat titles, showcasing the qualities of the modern sport horse: elasticity, rideability, balance and outstanding basic gaits.
For breeders, riders and dressage enthusiasts, the championships are a unique opportunity to discover tomorrow’s international prospects at an early stage of their careers.
Champions for Sale
Internationally sought-after sires meet successful Austrian dam lines. One particular highlight is a nephew of Broadmoars Don Alfredo AWÖ, one of Austria’s leading international dressage horses under Bettina Kendlbacher and a competitor at the FEI Dressage World Cup Final.
An Unforgettable Saturday Night
On 19 September, the Championats Gala & AWÖ Foal Auction brings sport, breeding and entertainment together for a special evening in Stadl-Paura.
The elite foals will be offered through live and online bidding, while championship celebrations and an elegant programme make the Gala one of the highlights of the Austrian breeding season.
