Le Papillon M became the best selling foal in the German Horse Quality Foal Auction, which was held at 2026 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
Germany's four major studbooks - Hanover, Oldenburg, Westphalia, and German Sport Horse - hosted this joint auction for the second, consecutive year on 27 August 2026.
A collection of 26 foals was on offer and they sold for an average price of 17,938 euro.
The Oldenburg bred Le Papillon M (by La Paix x Vitalis) was the most wanted foal, selling for 37,000 euro.
The second most expensive one was the Oldenburg bred Imperium Fratrum (by Ibiza x De Niro), which sold for 30,000 euro.

Viva Amor (by Viva Vegas x Furst Romancier) sold for 26,000 euro, while Delos GH (by Dante Weltino x Fidertanz) moves to Switzerland for 24,000 euro.
Flip a Coin (by First Magic x Zack) fetched 21,000 euro. Buckskin pony filly Golden Loona (by Gold Garant x Nemax) went for 19,500 euro.
Spanish clients bought Vacheron (by Verbier x Furst Romancier) for 18,500 euro. Feines Gluck (by Fiji x Fahrenheit) went for 18,000 euro, Son of Geisha (by Secret x Jameson), who has Semmieke Rothenberger's Geisha as grand dam, sold for 17,500 euro.

Only one foal sold for less than 10,000 euro: Bridget Jones (by Benicio x Vitalis), who fetched a hammer price of 9,000 euro.
