German Grand Prix rider Bernadette Brune is looking for a young horse rider to strengthen her team at her dressage and breeding yard Gestüt Brune in Westerstede, Germany.
Gestüt Brune is a state of the art equestrian facility, newly built, and the base for Bernadette's breeding and dressage programme of high quality sport horses.

You be working in the best conditions possible for horse and rider. Gestüt Brune puts a high emphasis on natural horsemanship and the correct, classical training of horses from young horse level to Grand Prix.
The candidate has to be a dedicated and reliable rider, who can start as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:
• Competing at shows and accompanying the horses to events
• Grooming and caring for the horses in your charge
• Stable duties such as mucking out and feeding are part of the daily routine
What you can expect from us:
• A full-time role with a 5.5-day working week
• One weekend shift per month
• A daily lunch with the whole team
• Regular team events
• A close-knit team with a strong sense of camaraderie
• Modern training facilities and a versatile sport horse operation
What you should bring to the role:
• Ideally, a completed qualification as a horse management specialist (with a focus on riding training) and riding experience up to M-level
• Experience in training and riding young dressage horses, including stallions
• Experience in young horse competitions is a plus.
• A confident, refined and horse-centred riding style
• A sense of responsibility and a meticulous approach to work
• Motivation, team spirit and a passion for equestrian sport
• Fluent German and English
• A permanent work permit in Germany
