Australian Olympian Lyndal Oatley has debuted a new horse at Grand Prix level at the national show in Hamminkeln, Germany, on 18 July 2026.
Aboard the 9-year old Fearless she won the Grand Prix with 73.930%.
Fearless
Fearless is a 2017 born Oldenburg by Furst Jazz out of Levantina (by Sandro Hit x Landadel). He is bred by Paul Schockemöhle at Gestut Lewitz.
Dam Levantina produced a string of well known sport horses, including full brother Bundeschampionate finalist Fabuleux Coeur (Nicole Wego, Adam Steffens), as well as Csaba Szokola's Parkertech Gardenart (by Totilas) and Charlott Maria Schurmann's Vitali PS (by Vitalis).

Reichert presented him once in May 2022 in an L-level test in Ansbach. In 2023 it was Ferdinand Csaki who competed the horse through M-level at regional shows in south Germany.
Lyndal Oatley
The black gelding, who has been nicknamed "Bear", is now owned by Carol and Andrew Oatley, Lyndal's parents.
Lyndal has been producing him to Grand Prix level helped by her husband, Swedish Olympian Patrik Kittel. This year Lyndal had to sit out on World Championship team selection after she sustained a foot injury in February and her number one Grand Prix rider Forever Young HRH got sidelined in May. The Oatley family also owns J'Adore Dior H which Kittel is competing at international small tour level.

"We did a thing," Lyndal took to Instagram. "A Grand Prix...and he won. I cried the whole way up the last centre line. Bear has the biggest heart I know. Thanks to everyone for all the support and all thousands behind the scenes that made this story book a reality."
