With the nominative entry date having passed, more countries are announcing their official teams for the 2026 World Para Dressage Championships in Aachen.
The United States equestrian federation announced the combinations to represent the U.S. Team for the 2026 FEI Para Dressage World Championships. The American team will be led by Chef d’Equipe and Technical Advisor, Michel Assouline, alongside Team Leader, Laureen Johnson.
The American team includes
- Rebecca Hart (Wellington, Fla.) - Floratina, a 2008 Hanoverian mare (Fidertanz x Rubin Royal OLD), owned by Rowan O’Riley
- Fiona Howard (Boston, Mass.) and Diamond Dunes, a 2013 Hanoverian gelding (De L’Or x Wolkentanz), owned by Dressage Family LLC and Hof Kasselmann
- Kate Shoemaker (Wellington, Fla.) and Vianne, her own 2016 Hanoverian mare (Vitalis x Ramiro’s Bube)
- Marie Vonderheyden (Wellington, Fla.) and Fan Tastico H, a 2017 Oldenburg gelding (Furstenball OLD x Weltmeyer), owned by Karin Flint
The U.S. reserves are:
- Eleanor Brimmer (Wellington, Fla.) - Langagers Krack I Love It
- Rebecca Hart (Wellington, Fla.) - Liberation
- Fiona Howard (Boston, Mass.) - Ferguston
- Kate Shoemaker (Wellington, Fla.) - Ghandi
Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Para Dressage Manager Simone Hession has selected the four athletes and their equine partners for the championship, with a blend of youth and experience in the quartet.

The Swiss equestrian federation is sending two individuals to Aachen.
