Venice and Crystal Ice became the best selling foals of the Oldenburg Elite Foal Auction held at the 2026 Oldenburg young horse championships and elite mare show in Höven on 4 July 2026.
A collection of 26 dressage and jumping bred foals was on offer.
The show jumping foal Crystal Ice (by Challasco Blue PS x Toulon) and the filly Venice (by Verbier x Stedinger) both sold for the highest price of the auction: 20,500 euro. Bred by Helmut Kleen will move to a sport stable in Lower Saxony.
Venice's dam, Uthinga, previously produced the 2022 Oldenburg Champion Mare Benice (by Benefit), who also began her career as a foal at the Vechta Auction. Her grandmother, Unique, is a sister to the Grand Prix star Dandelion OLD. The Uthoba line has produced, among others, the Grand Prix-successful Stand By Me OLD (Lisa Muller) and Olympic star Jimmie Choo (Mads Hendeliowitz).
Fleur de Luxe (by Fine Future x Revolution) was the second most expensive foal, selling for 17,000 euro. Delight (by Daan G x Furst Romancier) fetched 13,000 euro, just like Lumina (by Lord Europe x Sir Donnerhall).
Soulmate (by So Perfect x Furst Romancier) moves to the U.S.A for 9,500 euro. He's be joined by Fisematenten WH (by Federer x For Dance) for 8,500 euro. Dame Blanche GW (by Donation PS x De Niro) goes to Austria for 9,000 euro.
