Belgium
The Belgian equestrian federation held its first of two team selection trials for the 2026 World Championships for young dressage horses, taking place in Verden (GER) - 4 - 9 August 2026.
The first selection was held in Vrasene on 30 June where a maximum of four horses per age category got short listed for the second and final trial in Hannuit on 14 July 2026.
Belgium is eligible to send two horses per age category.
The short-listed horses are:
5-year olds
- Mathis Dieltjens - Victoire de Perle (BWP, by Secret x Uptown)
- Benedek Pachl (HUN) - Velvet Begijnhoeve (BWP, by Zackerey x Tango)
- Kevin Laevens - Valente van ter Royen (BWP, by Foundation x Gran Galaxy Win)
- Isabel Giart - Virtuoso van het Bloemenhof (BWP, by So Perfect x Apache)
6-year olds
- Dominique D'Hoore - van der Horst - Uncrowned van de Wolfshoeve (BWP, by Millennium x Danone)
- Jorinde Verwimp - Ulandro van de Kempenhoeve (BWP, by Kjento x Den Haag)
- Rob van Puijenbroek - Uno Begijnhoeve (BWP, by Le Premier Begijnhoeve x Negro)
- Evelyn Eger (GER) - Secret's Weapon (aka Uxelle van de Sparrenhoef, BWP by Secret x Sir Donnerhall)
7-year olds
- Nick van Laer - Typhoon van Kinschot (BWP, by Guardian S x Bon Bravour)
- Tommie Visser - Tarkon Begijnhoeve (BWP, by Daily Diamond x Tango)
- Dominique d'Hoore - van der Horst - Tsar van de Wolfshoeve (BWP, by Romanov x Danone)
- Kizzy Halkett - Talentino VD (BWP, by Just Wimphof x Fidertanz)
