A critical score change made by the head of the ground jury at the CDI Kronberg has been attributed to a scribing error.
Yesterday Eurodressage published an article on the Thai Equestrian Federation announcing their long list for 2026 Asian Games team selection. The announcement came after the CDI Kronberg at Gestut Schafhof, where Asian riders had a final opportunity to obtain the FEI Minimum Eligiblity Requirement (2x 62% in a PSG or Inter I).
One long-term Thai team rider, H.R.h. Princess Sirivannavari Mahidol, who is based with her horses at Gestut Schafhof in Kronberg, was lacking one of the two required MER scores for team inclusion.
On the final day of competition, she scored 61.9% in the Intermediaire I, missing out on the necessary 62% MER by a hair. Her score, however, was changed afterwards to 62.0% by the president of the ground jury, Dr. Evi Eisenhardt.
Eurodressage reached out to the scoring company, Dr. Eisenhardt, as well as the FEI on the matter.
Today (26 June 2026) an FEI spokesperson came back with an explanation for this critical score change: "The FEI reviewed the reports from the event. We were informed by the Officials that a scribe error occurred in real time during the test. Following the competition, the President of the Ground Jury informed the scoring provider of the discrepancies and the results were modified in the system."
